Random Arenas: Where the lowest of the low appear
I'm tired of Random Arenas. GuildWars staff should really think about adding my ideas into the game, for I feel it would GREATLY improve Random Arena's.
**Do to the many ignorant people on this website, I would like to ass that the build I used is a PvE build used to farm for DeadSwors. Its my adaptation of the pvxwiki build and it works in my opinion, better. So please, stay on topic and don't be such jerks. I didn't change my bar because i was bored of looking for an armbrace for 3 hours, thats why I went into a RA battle. Thank you very much. kthxbai***
For one, I'm TIRED of quitters in RA. Many people simply leave their team just because they do not have a Monk. My idea...
40 Balthazar faction deduction to all player whom leave before 60 seconds are elapsed.
And the second thing that pisses me off... our long POINTLESS matches. I'm tired of matches that can not be won because,
A: My team has no Enchantment removal
B: My team has no snares.
Mainly, the second thing i realized today because the team i was with was doing AWESOME! We were on our third and all of our wins were flawless. And than...
We ran into a runner who decided that its funny to just run around and waste EVERYONES time. I took a second scrrenshot to show that we were chasing him for over 28 minutes because we spiked the rest of their team.
Thus, my last idea.
At ten minutes, the team with the overall higher status wins.
Edited screenshots because they were too large and had other players names in them.

So, you bring a god-awful build with sub-par running capabilities, waste several slots that on ineffectual self-preservation skills, and then blame your teammates when they bring neither enchant rip nor snares?
You're part of the problem on that team. Arguably the ele should have an enchant rip. But as for snares and run skills - you're it with that team, man.
Lose the monk skills. Lose Hundred Blades for a real elite. Lose Endure. Put a decent run skill in there (something above and beyond your adren buff that masquerades as a run skill). Take a secondary that permits you to bring something useful (a Rending Touch, a Shock, etc.).
It's random arenas. You want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

If you go to RA, and especially if you're ranked, you should know that you can't rely on the other random members of your team to bring all the utilities you may need. Sure, a warrior shouldn't be responsible for enchant removal, but some form of snare/anti kite is expected. A sword warrior should at least have considered cripslash. Or bulls, or sprint, rush etc. Bring some yourself or just leave when this happens. I mean 28 minutes? How many rounds could you have done in that time?

Maybe the OP was trying to show his build as a proof that RA indeed brings the lowest?
I mean, i am a total newbie in PVP (and with the class i use there), and still kinda new to the game (2 month maybe), but still enjoy RA batles.
There is fun in RA if you actually realize that most of the people there has no clue what they are doing (newbies like me, or people just testing new builds and seeing if they can make it work), or think they do but are totally wrong (like certain warrior calling me names for using SS+blind, and dying 5 seconds later, when blind wore off and all the hexes kicked in XD).
55 monks, runners, leavers, leechers, players that have now clue and/or are not ready for those three... RA can't be more random than that
(but if they fix the leavers + leechers part as stated somewhere, i wouldn't complain)

lol @ people who care about his skill bar
So what if it's a bad RA build? Doesn't matter. Not like you've all been sporting uber leet haxor builds for your entire time in GW. This is far from the original subject, and has degraded into pretty argument/insult trading based off of a SKILL BAR.
I, personally, have ran into a 55 monk that my team was incapable of killing, due to the lack of disenchants. You can't always be responsible for everyone, especially if your using a specific build, like I was.

Agreed. Although part of the problem the OP is complaining about does have a lot to do with his skillbar. If he took a little more utility (not commenting on the /Mo skills, nor the lack of damage, a poor elite, and lack of res - oops, just did), he could've been a bit more prepared for taking out a runner.
Of course, another great way to solve a problem like this would be to simply leave and start over. I dislike leavers in general, but I think if discussed with the team, everyone would agree that it was a waste of time and leave to try again.
I still think some cripple, and other utility skills would be in order for RA in general. Just ratting on a poor skillbar is useless. Explaining why it's poor in regards to the problem at hand is useful. At least I hope.

because it's hilarious, that's why.
also if you've been keeping up to date with the official wiki, it looks like ANet are doing something about it
"a time limit on RA/TA games to stop runners."

I don't really find it all that funny. Nor do I understand why funny would lead to flames. I saw that they are planning on changing it, which sounds good.

serious discussion lolwut?
if you refer to my post, they have already mentioned they are looking into 'fixing' the problem on griefers, so there's nothing more to add to the discussion
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User_talk:Ryan_Scott
under Gladiator changes, read the edit in italics, "EDIT: I forgot to mention that we're also adding mechanics for punishing leechers and a time limit on RA/TA games to stop runners."
all that's left in this thread is for noxify to continue amusing us

No one started a fight. They criticized your build and you got defensive. Granted, some of them were out of line, but that still didn't require you to stoop to their level and attack back. You explained why you have the bar you did, that's enough. Ignore the rest. Everything I quoted was you fueling the flames as high as you could get them. That is counter-intuitive to any points you are trying to make with your thread.
Also, Shadow and I both posted in regards to the content of your first post, and within the subject matter, but you ignored them and continued to attack the other posts bashing your build. So it appeared to me that you were only looking for a fight, rather than discussing the point you originally made.
